George's on Harbour

My husband and I just had a fabulous dining experience at George’s on Harbour. Excellent service and the food was amazing. We started with a salad and each enjoyed gourmet pasta for our main dish. The atmosphere was so tranquil as we looked out on the water. The owner Alex made a point of checking in on our satisfaction and Maria gave us top notch service. Thank you for making our anniversary dinner celebration a special one.

I love coming here for dinner! Tonight I had the AAA Dry Aged Ribeye Steak, mashed potatoes and greens. Also enjoyed the deconstructed bruschetta and George's fries! Mckinna our server did a fantastic job, she was on the ball all the time! The wine we had was called Introvert, everything was delicious and I can't wait to return!

We had a great time at George’s, the atmosphere is so nice! Highly recommend sitting outside. Food was so good, we tried 2 pizzas and the Caesar salad, everything was so fresh and delicious! Our server Maya was excellent very friendly and helpful! We will definitely come back

Me and my boyfriend visiting families cottage and were looking for somewhere good to go out for our anniversary and George’s on harbour did not disappoint at all!!! The view on the patio was absolutely beautiful showing the sunset, Lake Huron and a big Canadian flag was our first indication this place was awesome. Our server, Makenna, was genuinely one of the kindest and most attentive servers and even mentioned some great places in town worth visiting during our trip :) The star of the show however was our food. The peach flatbread thingy is 10/10 I literally don’t think I’m ever gonna recover from how good it was.. the steak, mash, Alfredo pasta was all also very very good. Highly highly recommend coming here!

Best place to dine in the area. So happy we went to George's tonight for date night. The short ribs and steak we ordered were fantastic; from a local butcher and cooked to perfection. We were seated at the bar and had a fantastic time with Lynn - she was so personable and accommodating (she makes a killer cocktail too). Loved the lava cake, and carrot cake (so many desserts to choose from). Thank you to all of the warm service staff, and skilled chefs. We will be back, without hesitation. We plan to book ahead on the patio next time, but we are grateful they squeezed us in at the bar on a fully booked evening.

Birthday Date Night at George’s was phenomenal. We were greeted with smiles and welcomed earlier than our reservation time. Our server Samantha was amazing, extremely friendly and genuine! All the food was extremely flavourful. We really enjoyed the deconstructed bruschetta salad and the lobster Mac N Cheese. We were also pleasantly surprised with the Tiramisu Amaretto Espresso Martini. Overall, it was a wonderful experience and we will be back. Prices are well worth the quality and ambience. I had a great experience at George Harbour Restaurant. The food was excellent, with the Tomahawk steak standing out as my absolute favorite—perfectly cooked and full of flavor. The staff were incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole evening even more enjoyable. Definitely a spot I’ll keep coming back to.

My husband and I have been to George's on Harbour twice. The first time it had recently opened and we were lucky to get a table on the patio, facing Lake Huron, where we watched the sun set as we ate. The chef stopped by to say hello and chat after I asked the waitress a question she couldn't answer fully. The second time we sat inside as we made our reservation too late. Both visits were in July. The staff were friendly, the service was very good and the food on point for the prices. We both enjoyed our meals but ambiance is an important part of a restaurant experience for us and so I scored this restaurant high on that note. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend George's on Harbour!! PS the logo on the napkin is the owner's dog, George!
